Roehrig shock dynos are a standard in the motorsports industry for shock dynamometers.

The EMA 2k is one of Roehrig's top-performance models. More common crank-style dynos utilize simple sinusoidal motions to characterize damper performance; the electromagnetic linear actuator in the EMA 2k allows precise playback of shock potentiometer data from testing sessions, more accurately reproducing the forces that the damper creates on the track.
